The River Edge Library has a volunteer-run delivery service to residents of River Edge who are unable to visit the library due to limited mobility, illness or disability.

- Homebound status may be permanent or temporary.
- A doctor’s note is not required; eligibility will be established after an interview with a Library staff either in-person or over the phone.
- Your River Edge library card must be in valid and non-delinquent status.
- Once homebound status is established, patron must surrender the library card to be kept at the Library during use of service.
- Patrons in this program will not be held responsible for overdue fines, however other policies regarding lost or damaged materials remain in place.
- Patrons can order directly on our online catalog (www.bccls.org), make requests on any available items at the River Edge Library directly to the volunteer, or ask the volunteer to choose items for them based on their preferences.
