The Friends of the River Edge Library
The Friends of the Library is a volunteer organization that has given support to the library and its patrons since 1954. The recent fund drives, in addition to book sales and other fundraising efforts, enable them to sponsor:
The Friends of the River Edge Library meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the library. We are actively looking for library and community enthusiasts to join the Friends group. Please come join us or email us at [email protected].

- The Children’s Summer Reading Club and many other year-round youth programs
- Copyright licenses for movie programs
- Exercise classes
- Concerts, including the Bantry Boys
- New furniture and technology upgrades
- The Taste of Korea Harvest Festival
- Shakespeare in the Park
- Passes to the Museum of Natural History
- And much, much more.
