Did you know our Library Director, Daragh O'Connor is from Ireland? To help us celebrate, Daragh put together a video talk to share with our patrons stories of his family in Ireland along with beautiful photos. He pays tribute to Tough times in Tullow – 1940s to the 1960s, one of the written works by his father, Eugene O'Connor. For the past 20+ years, we have been hosting the Bantry Boys, an Irish Folk Band but due to the pandemic this year, we will not be able to have our annual celebration. We sure will miss the lively music, our jovial crowd and of course the array of refreshments and soda bread! Check out our slides show and video from the performance from a few years back!
